OpenBSD 6.9 installation session

# B4 gate: the OpenBSD/sgi 6.9 install itself, from the interactive installer
# menu through set extraction, volume-header/bootloader write, and
# "CONGRATULATIONS!" completion -- the run that produces the disk the boot
# transcript in tests/golden/b4-openbsd-multiuser-login then boots and logs
# into. Companion evidence, not a duplicate: that file proves the installed
# kernel boots and authenticates; this one proves the disk it boots was built
# by the installer working end to end, not hand-assembled.
#
# Captured 2026-08-11 (UTC) by scsi-dev, on -M origin200, driven by
# assets/openbsd/spike/install-driver.py against the OpenBSD 6.9/sgi install
# ramdisk kernel (bsd.rd.IP27, RAMDISK-IP27 -- distinct from the installed
# GENERIC-IP27 kernel the boot transcript captures), installing to sd0 (the
# disk this same run's root.img becomes) with install media on sd1
# (sets.img). Requires the response-queue completion-erasure fix (commits
# 8d46b63417, b3b2b5102d on sgi-origami), task #21/#69: without it this run
# stalls partway through base69.tgz/comp69.tgz extraction and never reaches
# the sets-selection or bootloader-write steps below, let alone completion.
#
# [driver] lines are install-driver.py's own log of what it answered at each
# prompt -- kept in the transcript, not stripped, for the same reason the
# boot transcript keeps its [login-driver] lines: what was sent is part of
# the proof that this is a real interactive install with real answers, not
# a canned image. Two occurrences of "Location of sets?" are expected and
# both are genuine, not a bug: install.sub re-offers the prompt after every
# successful batch to ask "add another location?", so the first occurrence
# answers "disk" (fetch bsd.IP27, base69.tgz, comp69.tgz) and the second
# answers "done" (nothing more to add) -- see task #83's sibling finding on
# install-driver.py's own location-of-sets fix.
#
# The verbose fetch/install progress bars for base69.tgz and comp69.tgz
# (SHA256 verification, then extraction, both printed as single very long
# lines with embedded carriage returns) are kept verbatim rather than
# elided: they are the actual proof the full ~300MB base and comp sets were
# verified and installed, not truncated partway through.
#
# The transcript ends with the installer's own "System restart." followed
# by "Failed!!! Please reset manually." -- expected and harmless, not a new
# problem. This capture booted the install ramdisk with -kernel directly
# (no synthesized ARCS PROM exists yet in this fork to field a guest-issued
# restart request), so the installer's post-completion reboot request has
# nothing to restart into and OpenBSD reports the failure and stops, exactly
# as the boot transcript's own halt -p ends in "Software powerdown not
# supported, please switch off power manually." for the same underlying
# reason. Nothing beyond this line was captured because there was nothing
# further to run.
#
# Raw capture: /tmp/b4-confirm-install-transcript.log (not committed --
# scratch path, not durable; this file is the durable, committed copy, byte
# identical to the raw capture's content).

Welcome to the OpenBSD/sgi 6.9 installation program.

[driver] install-menu -> b'I\n'
(I)nstall, (U)pgrade, (A)utoinstall or (S)hell? I
At any prompt except password prompts you can escape to a shell by
typing '!'. Default answers are shown in []'s and are selected by
pressing RETURN. You can exit this program at any time by pressing
Control-C, but this can leave your system in an inconsistent state.
